Just Launched - The PSE Evolution stock for Tikka T1X / T3 / T3X.
Weighing in at ~ 700 grams / 1.5 lbs, the Evolution (Tikka T1X/T3/T3X) is quite possibly the lightest adjustable stock available.
Leading edge manufacturing techniques allow us to decrease weight whilst not sacrificing features.
The PSE Evolution stock is not CNC milled like any other stock manufacturers. It is "inlet moulded". Inlet moulding involves the use of extremely complex and intricate moulds (tools).
The PSE Evolution for Tikka T1X, T3 or T3X rifle systems, incorporates an innovative and unique epoxy carbon bedding system (as standard). The stock inlet is precision moulded and features carbon fibre "bedding blocks" which are a mirror image of your Tikka action. The front carbon bedding block holds an upgraded steel recoil lug. This recoil lug is epoxy bedded in place when the stock is laid up, meaning it cannot be easily removed. The PSE Carbon Bedding System means that the user can simply drop their Tikka action into the stock without further epoxy bedding being required.
There are two barrel channel options:
1) Standard - we advise only opting for this if you have a thin profile steel barrel, for example the factory Tikka T3 Lite barrel.
2) Wide - this option will fit most carbon barrels including Proof Sendero profile. We advise opting for this barrel channel if you have any intention of re-barrelling your rifle in the future.
